1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Trackr ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the usetrackr.me website and the Trackr web application. By accessing or using Trackr, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

Trackr provides a suite of tools designed to assist users in managing their job search process. Our services include:

  • A centralized dashboard for tracking job applications, interviews, and statuses.
  • An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) resume audit tool that analyzes uploaded resumes against job descriptions.
  • An AI-powered cover letter generator that creates tailored cover letters utilizing third-party AI APIs (e.g., Google Gemini).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to use the service in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Abuse, bypass, or exploit the AI cover letter generator or ATS resume audit features, including generating excessive or automated requests that could overload our APIs.
  • Upload resumes or documents containing malicious code, malware, or unlawful content.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or extract data from the application without explicit permission.
  • Use the service to generate content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the resumes you upload and the specific cover letters generated for you by our service. By using our service, you grant us a temporary license to process this content strictly for the purpose of providing the ATS audit and AI generation features to you.

Our Content: The application, including its source code, design, dashboard layout, and overall "look and feel," are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Third-Party Services and APIs

Trackr integrates with third-party services, including Supabase for authentication and database management, and Google Gemini for AI capabilities. Your use of Trackr is also subject to the terms and limitations imposed by these third-party providers. We are not responsible for any outages, errors, or data breaches occurring on third-party platforms that are beyond our direct control.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties that the ATS resume audit will guarantee job placement, or that the AI-generated cover letters will be completely error-free or perfectly tailored. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before submitting it to an employer.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Trackr, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
