Managing Saved Jobs
Learn how to organize, track, and manage your job application pipeline in Trackr.
Managing Saved Jobs#
Welcome to the core of Trackr! The Saved Jobs board is where you will manage your entire application pipeline from discovery to offer.
Overview#
The Saved Jobs module acts as your personal CRM for job hunting. It uses a Kanban-style board to help you visualize where every application stands, ensuring you never miss a follow-up or lose track of a promising opportunity.
Why it exists#
Relying on memory or messy spreadsheets to track dozens of applications across multiple platforms leads to missed deadlines and poorly prepared interviews. Trackr centralizes this data, providing a visual, structured workflow for your career search.

How it works#
Your board is divided into customizable columns representing the stages of your application process (e.g., Wishlist, Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected). You can create a "job card" for any role you find online.
Trackr supports saving jobs from any source, but is heavily optimized for seamless integration with major platforms.
Our system automatically parses and structures job descriptions saved from major platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Greenhouse.
Step-by-step instructions#
To add a new job to your pipeline manually:
- Navigate to the Saved Jobs board.
- Click the + Add Job button in the top right.
- Paste the URL of the job posting. Trackr will attempt to auto-fill the details.
- Review the auto-filled information (Company, Title, Description) and correct anything if necessary.
- Select the appropriate stage (e.g., "Wishlist").
- Click Save Job.
The job is now on your board! You can drag and drop the card between columns as you progress through the interview process.
Tips#
- Set reminders on your job cards to follow up with recruiters one week after applying.
- Use labels (e.g., "High Priority", "Reach") to quickly identify the jobs you care most about.
Best Practices#
- Keep your board updated. Move a card to "Applied" the moment you submit the application, and log notes immediately after every interview while the details are fresh.
- Always save the full job description text, not just the URL. Companies often take down the posting once they start interviewing, and you'll need the description to prepare!
FAQ#
Can I customize the columns on my board? Yes! Click the settings gear icon on your board to rename, add, or remove columns to match your personal workflow.
Does Trackr apply to jobs for me? No, Trackr is an organization and tracking tool. You must still complete the application process on the employer's website or platform.
